Wonderful service, one employee even went above and beyond to make sure I didn't forget my sunglasses at our table. Our server was very kind, and the food was great! The home fries were seasoned very well, I would definitely recommend this diner. View all feedback.
What disneyfan131 doesn't like about Jack's Diner:
While you expect a true Diner to be a bit rough around the edges and need a little TLC, Jack’s Diner in Albany just felt a bit gross. Everything was sticky and seemed in poor repair, taped up signs, servers that just weren’t interested in serving and food which was pretty bland. Was it passable for what it was? Sure. But I couldn’t see myself returning. View all feedback.
A great litttle old school diner that serves all your favorites: pancakes, omelettes, hash browns. Come for dinner time and experience the Latin menu, including great chicken tacos and birria tacos ! Highly recommend

It's not the same Jack's. Spanish people took it over. Wasn't that good.
Comfortable small diner, a bit of a classic feel to it. Feels a bit nostalgic, and the staff are kind.
Jacks diner used to be the number #1 place to go for breakfast and lunch. we went for breakfast the other day and lunch a week ago, the place has gone down hill bad. the Ruben sandwich was burnt, had one piece corn beef that didn’t even look like corn beef, they don’t sell Mac or potato salad anymore. the waffle my husband said didn’t even taste like a waffle and was on the dark side, eggs were cold, the coffee was lukewarm. Place was dirty. Never will get my money again.
