"Insider tip! We first went to the nearby Kastelen castle ruins with our two sons (2 and 4). A great little hike with small children with a fantastic avenue of trees, great views, barbecue areas, climbing rocks, playground, toilets and historic but well-kept castle ruins and a deep well. The climb is not too steep and took the boys about 20 minutes. Then right next door to the adventure farm with well-kept animal stables, a varied playground, delicious organic products and a restaurant with indoor and outdoor play options, a great ambience and delicious food. Absolutely recommended, especially with children!"

"Wir waren vor längerer Zeit im Löwen. Vor allem Familienfeste werden da gefeiert. In der Wildsaison ist der Löwen besonders zu empfehlen. Den Wildhasen gibt es wirklich nirgends so lecker wie im Löwen. Der Jus passt perfekt, er überdeckt nicht das Gericht, sondern unterstützt es. Wirklich wunderbar. Die klassischen Beilagen sind super. Speziell die Spätzli sind der Kracher. Ich liebe es leicht salzig. Gratulation zu so einer einfachen aber umso besseren Küche. Ich meine es also als Kompliment wenn ich sage. Das schmeckt wie bei Grossmutter"

"Take a wonderful restaurant with a deck slung over a valley, a late summer 's evening, and a colourful sunset. Add in good beer, great appetizers and a hardy menu of Swiss favourites and you have all the ingredients for a great evening. Call in advance for an outside table on a busy night. The Currey and Kalbs Cordonbleu were big hits at our table, as was the well named desert, Coupe Romanoff that could amply serve two people.
