"If you’re visiting Albury you must try Bistro Selle. The food and service is amazing. It’s a small restaurant with a lovely ambience. The staff really know their wine and food. We loved the brussels sprouts and the barramundi had such amazing flavour and texture combinations. The sirloin was top quality also cooked to perfection. We would have liked to try dessert but couldn’t fit it in. Highly recommended."

"I took my friend here for the first time on a Thursday night and it was absolutely fantastic! She’s never eaten here before and said it was a 10/10 experience, every dish as superb. I had the tartare for entree while she had the scallops and both had great flavour. Maine were Rockling market fish and duck breast, again both had great flavour and were cooked perfectly, the risotto with the fish was a perfect match for the fish. Portions were perfect and we left with full bellies after two course meal and two sides Highly recommend!!!"

"We have been visiting Thai restaurants for over 30 years so are always interested in sampling local Thai fare when visiting a new town.At Thai Puka we ordered several stock standard dishes from their menu. While the food was served promptly, cooked adequately and the meat was tender enough, every dish was lacking in depth of flavour in comparison to equivalent dishes we've had at most other Thai restaurants. Instead of having a rich and dynamic taste, the curries could best be described as fairly bland gravy, more like what one would expect to find in a cheap food court outlet.Staff were polite enough and several were on duty even though it was a quiet evening. Despite this, it was hard to get anyone's attention to place our order, request drinks etc as they all were constantly preoccupied with something on the screen at the till counter and not keeping an eye on the seated customers.For this price level, we expect better. Next time we are in Albury, we will visit the Thai restaurant a little further along Dean St instead."

"If there are nachos on the menu I usually go for it. These were the best nachos and tacos I have ever eaten. The liquid cheese was a game changer, topped with soft beef and good portioned chips."

"I dined in the bistro with my family, we all ordered schnitzel with different toppings, I had the garlic seafood topping and it was delicious and fresh, yes a little more expensive but the food was quality. The service staff are to be commended, the ladies were very kind and efficient. Well done Albion for having fantastic staff."
