"From the welcome and beverage order this place was great. all that followed was not too good at all, steaks were sent back twice; because of completely wrong, every half an hour. side and sauces were cold. the manager refused to tell us and sent her waiter every time we asked to speak to her. can not blame the waiter, he was very good and apologetic due to the unfortunate circumstances and bad administration."

"A very non-flashy local place, with an EXCELLENT menu. It is tucked away in the Sants/Hostafrancs neighborhood, and is definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to. To start with, the server was nice, and attentive. She did a great job recommending the dishes, especially what became my favorite, something like small fried wraps with oxtail inside (sorry I forgot the name of the dish) on a bed of vegetables, Asian style. Ordering three plates will be enough for 2 adults, and be prepared for a very inexpensive, although top of the class meal. Beer is less than 2 euros, and so is the “carajillo”. [people, do NOT change that]. The Bravas Lolo can almost beat the famous bravas from Bar Tomas. Superb, with plenty of sauce, a good spicy oil on the side and the potato fired to perfection. Half ration enough for 2. The “croquetas” were a little disappointing, tasty but too dry; some bechamel and less breading would greatly improve them. They should improve their webpage, including the full menu and pictures of all the plates; that would attract even more people."

"La Estefata is a jewel which we chanced on by accident almost. On passing we saw plentiful plates of mussels and octopus so we decided to sit. We ordered drinks and both of the above. The mussels were large, freshly cooked and served generously. The Pulpo which followed, when we were ready, was equally superb. I ignored all my no bread rules and soaked up the wonderful oil/sauce."

"Some very interesting tapas here, figs with goat cheese tostada, stuffed olives and artichokes served with the finest jamon..... beautifully presented by elegantly dressed waiters and waitresses. Service can be slow, very slow on a busy Sunday but it is worth the wait and the setting by the Church is a good place to watch the world go by."

"We have already eaten here a few times and eating has never failed. tapas and meal times are available, but for us the fajitas are excellent and like the black pudding star when they are absolutely excellent hungry and cooked to perfection every time....Service is friendly and efficient, a nice relaxed place to enjoy especially now, the place is ready and open to all again. quality and presentation of food is two to none, well made"
