"The fish we ordered looked nice when it was served. However it was immediately clear it had not been cooked correctly. The waiter took the fish away and brought replacements. My partners fish was the same size but mine was much smaller and half the size of the original dish. We both thought the chips did not taste freshly cooked. We informed the waiter that the meal which was not cheap had been very disappointing and he apolgised. No one wants to suffer the consequences of uncooked food so I cannot recommend it as the basics were not met."

"I've been coming to Mendoza for more than 20 years and would heartily recommend it for a proper Spanish seaside tapas experience. In high season it is packed every lunchtime and evening, so grab a table where you can and fight your way to the bar. It is in no way fancy but the seafood is fresh and tasty the sardines are great, as are the prawns and clams and they have a really good range of alinos salpicon de marico, patatas alinadas, pimientos asados as well as meat dishes including carrillada (beef cheeks) and pinchitos (chicken skewers). Part of its appeal is that it never changes they've found a winning formula and are sticking to it. Long may they continue."
