What User doesn't like about Maxwell's Grocery:
Maxwell's is a mix of café and grocery store. They sell mostly healthy local options. Today I tried one of their beef burgers. Meat was from Wakefield Grange, so it can be guaranteed quality grass fed beef. Only $10, so very well priced. Coffee was absolutely delicious but totally not hot enough, even after asking for extra hot - that request was overlooked. Food arrived in a takeaway box, after requesting dine in. C... This place has a slightly hipsterish feel to the style of the place and the food they offer. They have a good range of things to tempt more carnivorous, herbivorous and omnivorous alike. They do a pretty solidly good coffee. The groceries selection is great for a selection of organic produce as well as a selection of grains and the like.
Great coffee. Great options. Great food. Great staff. A grocery store with a difference and just what Aldinga has been missing for some time.
After the mandatory visit and purchase to Miss Gladys on Sea, cross the road to Maxwells Grocery for a great coffee and an equally enjoyable veggie burger, thoroughly enjoyed our burger and shall return next week for another and that mandatory Gladys bit...????
Very disappointed in the beef burgers we had, mince had no seasoning at all very basic.Would not recommend as very tasteless
