a great meal at nostos. avgolemono suppe was rich and silky, fried calamari appetizer excellent and the samiko plate and broiled seafood combo excellent as usual. there was no room for dessert! the meal was good and our server tania a joy. my wife and I are the last transplants of long island, where we have eaten in numerous Greek restaurants over the decades and we thought that good Greek food would not be available... What User doesn't like about Nostos Greek:
First time visiting the restaurant. The atmosphere is very inviting. The server was attentive and friendly. While the gryo meat and pork chop was a little over cooked, the seasoning was outstanding. Other entrees and appetizers were delicious. We will be going back soon. View all feedback.
Thanks to the good kitchen and our server irene, our girl cost the night outside. her explanation about the choices of dinner was great and she added to the funeral of the night. the food was served timely and we never felt rushed. there will certainly be a place for us to come out on another girl at night.
The food was excellent, very authentic taste. The service was very slow but I think it was due to some wait staff out sick. If you are not in a hurry I highly recommend, remember to BYOB.
It is a sweet spot for an authentic greek experience. Brownie points for BYOB. A lot of options for non vegetarian and enough options for vegetarian too. We ordered Sparta's chicken which was realllyyyy good! Didn't get to try Baklava because the portions are big. Overall food is delicious but the service can get better.
Amazing food made with love! Some of our favs included Soutzoukakia, Spanikopita, Shrimp Santorini, Pastitsio, Spetzofai. and Plakia. And can't forget the phenomenal desserts...Galactiburio and Baklava. PS: BYOB ...reservations recommended!
