We phoned ahead on the day, and secured a table for 18:45 from the helpful waiter. There is a good carpark just past the inn, to the right. We were given lovely fresh bread with pesto with our drinks. I had garlic prawns to start; super tasty, and I mopped up the butter and herbs with the bread. I have come to the Langstrath for years as a regular to the Lake District. I have always rated it with lovely food and friendly staff. More recently the prices have become ridiculous. last week I came and I felt £20:75 for a steak pie Hefty… but there was a good amount of steak and it was a proper pie… it was yummy so I paid.
