Typical unpretentious Portuguese decor and fantastic food. The fish grilled to perfection and my husband had what he said was the best steak this year it was also enormous! Great value for both, I can really recommend it, we will be going again. The second time the fish equally perfect and the veal in Porto sauce was super tasty. What Pam D doesn't like about Toca Do Grilo:
We saw this restaurant open (even though it says closed online) and waited at the front for 15 minutes and none of the staff acknowledged us. There were 3 of us so you couldn’t miss us but the waiter kept walking by and ignoring us. Finally we went inside and the other waitress mumbled something about being full and she couldn’t help us. Completely rubbish service and I won’t be going there again. read more.
