We live in the 'hood and have visited once which, in turn prompted home delivery. The food is great cooked to perfection and consistent with other quality Japanese restaurants in major cities but located in an upscale though casual shopping center. What Abigail M doesn't like about Ume Sushi Hibachi:
The food was ok. However, this restaurant is very poorly managed. I typically do not write bad reviews on restaurants however this experience was just pretty gross. The bathrooms nasty. Bus tubs filled with dishes from lunch in sight of guests. My mom and I both ordered beer warm. View all feedback.
I have been eating here since pre-pandemic, when they still had the sushi buffet! Such a great deal, so fresh and delicious. They don't offer that anymore, but they have an amazing lunch special. My favorite sushi in Atlanta. Had to leave a review, as I came in last weekend for lunch and the chef was taking orders, running the register, and preparing the food. Even by himself, he had such a great attitude. I placed a to-go order, and was taken care of, with such kindness! Highly recommend, hard not to go weekly!
The best sushi in the Windward area. Fresh fish with high quality cuts. The sushi chef is very passionate and has skill in the craft. This is a local small business. It does have periods of difficulty with staffing.
Went there and have the curry udon. It was okay. Wasn't seasoned well enough. If I return I'll probably try something else.Food: 3/5
