This restaurant is in the Indian mall, in one of so extremes. the place is simple, but with very good attention. the quality of your grill is extraordinary: a chorizo bifé, at its proper level of ripening and cooking. their price level is medium high. but with proper cost-value ratio. to go and come back many times. To be honest, at a place like medellín, where there are many steak houses and where every restaurant rindmeat well prepared, corte grueso stands above most. my recent visit was to visitors from the states. perfection! from the patacons to the Solomito-Sterling it was just the...swiss coming from the joy that is plagued by this is amazing. I've never had a steak look this good truth! go and go often!
I have tried a lot of meat restaurants around medellin and for me this is in my top 3. it is not the most chessy or romantic, but the quality of the meat is great. my favourite cut is the punta de anca and the chimichurri. is excellent. when they have just arrived to medellin (rionegro airport), this restaurant is on the way to medellin. so it is a perfect place to stop on the way to the city. it is only 20 minutes away from meldellin, but is in the top of the hill and sometimes gets cold, so bring a jacket in the night.
