"There were 2 shrimp shell pieces mixed in with my fries. Unfortunately I didn’t see the pieces until I had eaten most of my food. I had a patty melt and my partner had a gyro so there was absolutely no reason for shrimp to have come in contact with our food in any capacity. It felt like an allergy hazard and it was definitely off-putting to the point where I didn’t finish my food. Also a random guy was walking around the restaurant asking if we ate which was confusing because they were in gym shorts and a baseball cap and no apron or uniform to indicate that they were in any way affiliated with the restaurant. Just a very bizarre experience. On the plus side, our waitress was very kind, and the service was fast."

"This place is cute and relaxing. The bartenders also tend to be super nice/fun. The concept of the wine cards is also cool. You load like ~15+ dollars on a card and you can dispense whatever wines you want with varying ounces. The money gets refunded if you don’t use it all. Would recommend for a chill night out. Sometimes they have music."

"My favorite! I had the Risotto Nero. It 's my favorite meal I 've ever had at a restaurant ever. It 's been three months and I still dream about it. Totally blown away. Don 't let the 'squid ink ' throw you. If you can handle seafood- Order it. I also had a piece of their chocolate chilli torte and loved it. The ambiance is super chill and classy. So glad this place is in Ames!"

"We tried the Bauru sandwich and garlic spaghetti. The sandwich had a delicious grilled chicken patty with cheese and other veggies. The bread was fresh and toasted perfectly. Definitely go for the fries on the side. The garlic spaghetti was quite flavorful and was exactly as it should be. Wonderful place for a relaxing dinner. The ambiance was good. And the playlist was amazing!"
