"Have wanted to visit for some time and we recently had an opportunity. We visited for breakfast and really enjoyed our visit. I had the 8 item Full English which was great and my wife had pancakes and maple syrup. Her only problem was she didn’t have much maple syrup as I think they were running short. Service was excellent and really friendly. Excellent value for money. We will visit again when the opportunity arises. We mentioned our visit to our daughter who lives in Amesbury and she then went the next day with her husband. She also thought the pancakes were excellent. All in all we would recommend visiting."

"Ordered for first time from here, food arrived cold and undercooked. Chicken was pink all the way through. Both meals were disgusting. Phoned the restraint to be told the chicken is cooked and has all been cooked through out the day and he had no other complaints so it was fine and nothing he could do. STAY AWAY from here"

"I think i must have gone to a different Hare and Hounds after reading the reviews for this pub because my meal was not up to the standard that i would expect. the starter (spring roll with hoisin sauce) was well over cooked and chewy. The main course was salmon with dauphinoise potatoes. Had very little taste and again overcooked, we had to ask for the vegetables that came with the meal as they were not delivered. One of our party sent her meal back as it was inedible. I could go on but I think that will do."
