Pfeffermuehle - Andernach

On a Saturday evening unbooked looking for a meal for 4 people. The first waiter sent us inside to deal with a colleague. Seated, we got menus and waited some time to give a drink order, we were very dry after a day travel! Finally, it was served and ordered food. Had to wait over 45 minutes to get the meal, there was a big party after us so they had to be sorted by the two waiting staff! Food was good and portions very generous. The price was about 25 pounds per head, which is appropriate in Europe in view of the decline in the value of the pound. Very pleasant environment, although we were outside near smokers who, I guess, kept the wasps in the bay!! Overall experience was good and we would come back.

The pepper mill is located near the Geysir Discovery Centre. We have dinner there and enjoyed our meal very much. The prices were reasonable, but somewhat more expensive than some other comparable restaurants in Andernach perhaps because of the situation. We ate out very comfortable heating and blankets provided; and the interior also looked beautiful. There was no English menu, but the waitress offered to help and translate the options for us. Everything and everything, a very pleasant experience.

Good food and service! But there's no english menu... so I had to guess what I would eat! I didn't bother to ask the waiters what things mean...

Daar we niet direct iets konden vinden zijn we hier terecht gekomen . Het terras zag er best gezellig uit. Helaas was het eten bedroevend. De menukaart was vrij beperkt dan moet het toch mogelijk zijn van deze producten iets goeds te maken. Het tegendeel was waar.

Die Speisenauswahl, Zubereitung und der Geschmack der Speisen ist recht gut, paßt aber leider nicht zum Umfeld des Restaurants.Das Problem ist die Bewirtung, Das Personal ist sehr unaufmerksam, und unprofessionell. Die Restaurantleitung streift in sehr ungepflegtem Aussehen durch die Räume und den Terassenbereich. Die Rauchpausen vor der Terasse sind für den draußen sitzenden Gast, alles andere als angenehm. Das Kümmern um Gäste und Abtragen vom Geschirr gibt Note 5.Das Lokal ist natürlich optimal gelegen, neben Museum und gegenüber Schiffsanleger.
