"The restaurant did not live up to its hype. I arrived at 2:10 pm and found that only two tables were occupied. I ordered their signature chicken biriyani, which was served in 5 minutes but was cold. The chicken pieces were small and mostly bone, with very little meat. I paid ₹293, including all taxes, for this subpar biriyani. To add to my frustration, they did not have any beverages, not even a fresh lime juice available at that time. The only positive aspect was the good service and the taste of the spices in the biriyani. I do not recommend this overpriced and overrated restaurant that capitalizes on its brand value rather than its food quality."

"We ordered chicken biryani there. Its very worst and chicken biryani didn’t even taste like a tomato rice. Price is too much and its not worth for money."

"Green Kitchen Family Restaurant has opened its second highway restaurant near Theni Arts and Science College,Veerapandi which is on Theni Cumbum bypass. They managed to maintain same color scheme like their Theni outlet. Toilets looks neat and clean. They have plenty of parking space for the travelers. The store looks neat and clean. As it is self service concept the service is quick enough as they have limited variants of Dosai, Idly, Poori, Ghee Pongal, variants of Vadais', Chapathi, Poori, South Indian meals, South Indian Parotta, Juices, Ice Cream, Milk Shake, Filter Coffee, Tea and few other hot and cold beverages. The taste seems to be as like their Theni outlet. Prices are so competitive. Example coffee/tea Rs 10, Dosai Rs 40, two pieces Idly Rs 20/, South Indian meals Rs 80/ . We were family of four and costed us less than Rs 300/ for all of us. I appreciate the efforts of green kitchen team and wish they open such outlets across national and state highways in Tamil Nadu and south India. No wonder why they were rated Best Restaurant Non Metro in 2016 and Best Highway Restaurant in 2017 across south India! Proud of you green kitchen and kudos!"
