What Margaret Salmon doesn't like about L'Etal Gourmand:
we went to 3 because the comments were overall good. a tender, but very fat, 150 g rib and a hotel master butter served next to the meat so impossible to melt it. the dice-cut potatoes had to cook in a clean oil bath because very indigestes and the taste not top. the dessert I chose to know vanilla lost bread was excellent and original. pleasant setting, nice welcome and excellent meat. the accompaniments (summs of granaille lands, jams, small dice of mushrooms with garlic) were perfect. We also enjoyed the desserts (from home). a selection of local wines (and organic for some) accordingly. we opted for an anjou village brissac bablut 2014. short to redo! View all feedback.
