What 5coo3y doesn't like about The Golden Haddock:
It was edible and if i’m generous, it was average. Fish was ok but not the batter that i like (bit thick and flat with that white layer between the fish that causes the fish to slip out the batter). Chips weren’t hot and fresh. No homemade tartar sauce. Service was good enough. Peas were garbage and microwaved. Marco’s along the way is much better in my opinion. "If you thought vegan food was all dust and husks, try this place. Really satisfying and flavourful dishes available we had the daal and the three bean chilli. Importantly, the cakes were absolutely delicious and the tea made with leaves (not bags). And, best of all, we were served the very cheery and helpful owner. Oh, and the toilet was clean! A great placed to get fuelled up for a walk along the cliffs."
