Not sure why the poor reviews. We did not read any reviews before eating here as we were already in Annecy but found the whole meal very enjoyable. The restaurant has far too many tables for a comfortable dining experience and were with our dog so felt a bit crammed in but the food was very good, staff friendly and apart from space found the meal quite enjoyable. What David L doesn't like about La Bastille:
Stopped for a quick bite to eat. Place is good location, a little dated on decor and cleanliness. Not a bad place, just depends o. What you expect. However, to eat we had wine, beer, charcuterie, and potatoes. The potatoes were great! Everything else average and ok. View all feedback.

OK, Monday noon. hot and good price quick dish: expensive for a savoyard dish but the restaurants give the word to be all at the same prices
