"After a few days in Switzerland we have come to the conclusion that although food is expensive, it is of a very high quality. Schlössli was no exception: booked a table at short notice, although it wouldn’t have been necessary. The waiter was very friendly...and helpful with the wine suggestions and with my wife’s Laktose intolerance. The food was excellent I had the potato soup followed by the cordon bleu schnitzel. My wife had the lamb, which was also excellent. Thoroughly recommended."

"A car-free day trip to the appenzell led us to lunch in the rest. Anchor.A very nicely rebuilt local, top modern combined with wood. Designed with a lot of taste.The food can only be recommended, modernly dressed and well cooked. only the rabbit fillet was a trace too long in the pan. very nice service and friendly hosts.Where to say it is not very many guests. so come, try, and look."

"We stopped at the café for a coffee and something sweet. Having eaten here before, we knew that the bakery treats were good and this time we were also not disappointed. Along with our coffee we had an ice cream creation with cherries, and a...delicious apricot puff pastry with ice cream. There is outside sitting both in front of the restaurant and at the side. As both are along the road and across from a parking lot, there will be a lot of cars and pedestrians passing by. The parking is free within the blue zone. This being a well-loved tourist stop in Switzerland, however, be prepared to pay for the priveledge of eating here. Our two desserts and coffees amounted to CHF 32.00. At least the quality is very good."
