"Vegan Greek options are quite rare so it was a pleasant suprise to happen across this little bistro in Arbroath (a town with hardly any vegan options). I had the falafel pita bread which was tasty and fresh. The waitress was lovely."

"If you thought vegan food was all dust and husks, try this place. Really satisfying and flavourful dishes available we had the daal and the three bean chilli. Importantly, the cakes were absolutely delicious and the tea made with leaves (not bags). And, best of all, we were served the very cheery and helpful owner. Oh, and the toilet was clean! A great placed to get fuelled up for a walk along the cliffs."

"Discovered this Cafe while holidaying in the area. What a great find! Had delicious, deeply-filled sandwiches for take away, freshly prepared, very good value for maney. Staff super friendly and welcoming, all other things like cakes, coffees, freshly baked bread and items on the special menu all looked very intriguing, too! Hope to be back soon. Would highly recommend!"

"If they like their coffee strong, this is the place for them, best we had one. the skorn was light and fluffy and had a roll and llorne with a fried egg dopper and it was huge. the staff was very friendly and watched them move tables to get a stroller and take time to make sure that a wheel chair enter and then look good. superb!"

"The hotel was a pleasant experience. We were there for 4 nights and loved everyone and everything about the hotel and bar. We met Rob, the manager and he has put together a staff of family and friends that are delightful! The food was outstanding and the drinks were plentiful and priced right. All in all, after 2 months of travel in Europe we have the fondest memories of that hotel and Carnoustie. Going back next year for another dose of old Scotland. A great experience!! "Take the cliff path of arbroath for approx. 2 miles or an unnamed road, until they reach the cliff top and find this jewel. with a large number on the menu, for such a place, made decisions difficult. my wife had. minze and didties with skirlie' not often seen on menus in this wide south. check it on google while I mustels had as pornstars that contain besidesalat and chips. well cooked and presented by pleasant employees. good selection of filled beers available not caught beer. if you need to take a few calorie, the way down the 200 ft cliff is right opposite the restaurant"
