Logie Baird - Argyll Bute

I visited this restaurant last week for a pub quiz and had a great time with my family. The pub is quite large and is located in a converted old cinema building that was previously part of a chain of pubs...

The Logie Baird in Helensburgh has managed to stand out amidst the saturation of chain pubs in the area. I have enjoyed my experiences there.

Good bar staff, eat in order, kitchen delivery terrible when they wait for 1 hour and 10 minutes for the half of their order, they go to them. if not, they avoid. the bar staff was very apologetic and accommodating, but it was hardly for such a slow and unconsistent service. it seems that the menu is too complex for the 2 kitchen staff. the sad thing is that this was the same last weekend, suggesting that it will not soon be better for a drink, they will avoid them if they want to be fed.

The burger was delicious. well seasoned, meaty and perfectly cooked. the two well dimensioned pieces of the west were delicate and smokey, and the chicken wings sticky, tender and plentiful to eat a fair price, with friendly service in a relaxing, pleasant environment.
