We had a recommendation from a local woman in the street about the Galley when we were turned away from two coffee shops. The hidden gem of the Galley was superior to the others in its internal decor and ambient comfortable atmosphere. The host was welcoming, ha... View all feedback.

"We were in Scotland for 3 weeks and hands down this was the BEST restaurant of our trip. Three people ran the place (I believe all family members) and did a fabulous job. They had lazagna on the menu and I thought 'lazagna on Arran?..."

"Quite a nice cafe, but overpriced This is quite a nice cafe but they have put their prices up quite a but recently and in my opinion it's a bit of a rip off We had a couple of breakfasts, think it was 12 odd quid. Even a sandwich is about £8. They've done away with their soup and a sandwich deal so now if you want that it's £5 for soup and then an extra £8 for a sandwich. It's more like hotel prices than a wee local cafe. We used to go quite a lot but won't be going back, it's just too expensive, although i appreciate their costs may have gone up and they have to charge this to make ends meet."

"Visited on a beautiful sunny day so outside dining at the picnic bench, fab views to Arran and Skipness Castle. Scallops in garlic butter were delish with fresh salad and breads! A hidden gem, only negative not much menu choice for kids."

"The staff are delightful, cheerful, friendly and very helpful. The meal we had was delicious and we could certainly have eaten more. I had a really good Cullen Skink, very tasty, with a slice of cake for dessert. My wife had a quiche with asparagus and herbs followed by a tiramisu cheesecake which she rated very highly. We’ll certainly return later on, this coming summer."
