This is a review for the restaurant, never stayed at the Lodge, but been to the restaurant many times. Awesome place to go and enjoy a great meal when you're in the area (Fish Tacos were great), if you're visiting Calaveras County, Bear Valley or the Murphys Arnold area it is a short drive up the pass. I drove my mom up to the lake to get out of the heat and get some dessert. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the cool air. Mom love the gift shop and ice cream, while I got a cool beer.
