"That is our second time in slanj, with our first again in february 2022. the amazing quality has not changed. the portions are large and a perfect size to fill them comfortably. during our first visit due to the time of the year there were only two employees before and a cook, but this does not stop the quality of the dinning experience. eating was as amazing as our second visit and the staff are always friendly and helpful as they can be. the restaurant is also with its own dog menu, which has three meals and a desert in the offer, pet-friendly. a special mention to jack that serves us both paintings and is extremely friendly, hard work and helpful."

"I am a complete tourist to the area and i think this restaurant is a hidden gem! The restaurant is well maintained and decorated. The food was served quickly and tasted delicious. The staff were all very friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend to book to make sure you guarantee a table as it is very popular! Would recommend if you are staying in the area!"

"The seafood was spectacular. Everything we ate was delicious, but highly recommend the smoked mussel fishcake with langoustine bisque, any of the oysters, and the scallops. Truly delicious. Also a lovely and pretty reasonably priced wine list. The prices aren’t everyday prices (we came as a special meal on holiday) but would definitely come back!"

"Last night we had our first take. it was so beautiful, we had the meal deal for 2 amazing worth and the last of the food would actually 3. the chicken parody was fab. both curries were really delicious and the garlic nan was one of the best I ever had. we will definitely come back."

"A must visit this unique/quiant/stylish caffe. serve homemade ice cream, milkshakes and hot drinks with beautiful cake. (I had chocolate crispy cake and nasty through a clementine sponge cake yum yum . that is it with which they treat themselves after the long walk along the beach! great personal, teens running the place!. it can be a weed in itself, but much space outside. they are eating"

"We've driven by the Drovers many times and having visited family to drop off Christmas gifts we decided to stay overnight as a treat for ourselves for our anniversary. We paid £100 for a room in the lodge and for that price, at low season,...I was expecting something a bit more special that what we got. I likened the room to nothing more than what you would expect in a Hostel but my other half was a bit more charitable. The Inn itself is a stunning building, full of character, and we were booked in for dinner; looking forward to that and the live music that was to follow. Food was what I expected having looked at the menu in advance and that was OK certainly not fine dining but it doesn't market itself in that way and the prices reflect that. What I found really disturbing was the lack of enforcement of face mask wearing. The staff themselves were wearing masks but there was no enforcement of customers wearing masks and the place was heaving. We decided to head back to our room after dinner and missed out on the live music. Breakfast was poor quality; bacon that barely touched a pan and lorne sausage that was less than appetising. Sorry, but for £100 this was not value for money and we won't be visiting again."
