Haven't been back here for a few years and was still recognised after so long. It's a very lovely place to eat and drink in. The staff are friendly, chatty and are a laugh a minute. I really enjoy looking at the various teapots and pictures m that adorn the shelves and walls. read more.

a welcome like no other and the best house made cake I have ever tasted. good quality hot coffee. a perfect place to relax and enjoy.

"Nice clean premises with extensive homemade food offering, from snacks to main meals. We opted for homemade vegetable soup and a “standard” breakfast. The soup was a generous serving in a good sized bowl served with a fresh white warm crusty roll and a large slice of butter. Excellent. The breakfast consisted of a good quality “butchers” sausage, a nice rasher of bacon, baked beans, a lovely poached egg scrambled was an option), mushrooms which were preferred to the listed tomatoes and two thick slices of brown granary toast, well buttered. All excellent, well cooked and presented. Will have no hesitation in visiting this eatery again. Good food and good value. Thank you to all concerned."
