What Grant Murray doesn't like about Clippers:
I bought 3 supposedly large portions of chips for £2.85 each, I can tell you that for almost £9 all 3 combined would be smaller than a single large chips from a much better shop in Wick Littlehampton. Shocking rip off and won't use them...again, incidelty the chips from Wick are also much better!! read more.

This place used to be awful but they've got their act together recently and it's usually very good. But, today, a Thursday at 7.30pm, they had run out of chips....

"Nice clean premises with extensive homemade food offering, from snacks to main meals. We opted for homemade vegetable soup and a “standard” breakfast. The soup was a generous serving in a good sized bowl served with a fresh white warm crusty roll and a large slice of butter. Excellent. The breakfast consisted of a good quality “butchers” sausage, a nice rasher of bacon, baked beans, a lovely poached egg scrambled was an option), mushrooms which were preferred to the listed tomatoes and two thick slices of brown granary toast, well buttered. All excellent, well cooked and presented. Will have no hesitation in visiting this eatery again. Good food and good value. Thank you to all concerned."
