"After having been locked up by the family at university for some weeks, I was looking forward to spending nye with my loved ones. unfortunately we made the mistake to order our food from the marigold. not only the food lasted hours to arrive...if it finally came (after calling the restaurant twice) most of it was missing! even the food that arrived was terrible and cold. I have never experienced a worse take in my life. I urge everyone to read this review to stay well over this restaurant."

"This is a fabulous place, the is food outstanding, the atmosphere relaxed and owners are amazing. Highly recommend the Beef Medallions they are incredible. The sorbert/gelato afterwards are out of this world. However the Tiramisu is something you will remember for a long time too. If you want a friendly place to go for a good meal, this is the place."

"After spending the weekend in a lot of supper amazing restaurants this one was by far the most amazing place we came to Ian and his team run an extremely well organised and friendly restaurant with food of the highest quality and presentation. Each member of staff took pride it what they did. We will most definitely be coming back as the food was unforgettable. "First class food, attentive service and a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. What’s not to like. Had a fabulous evening (a gift from our children) and can’t wait to go back. Have eaten in several Michelin starred restaurants, and the food here is up there with them. If there was a weak link, it was the lamb kofta, but only because it is similar to the kofta I prepare myself, so not particularly special, but every other course was stunning."

"Staff were great, service brilliant. And then the most important thing.....food? We had the winter tasting menu and it was amazing. Not one weak course, they even made me love poached Salmon, which I'm not a fan of! I've eaten at restaurants that have been awarded Michelin stars and you know what, the food at Stones is up there. Would I eat there again? Yes, when can I book!"

"Food chips were like deep fried roast potatoes, not all dips listed were provided either, pizza was good but felt it was all overpriced for the quality. Drinks although we were told there would be a delay in our service due to the comedy club the drinks were brought over in poor time and then the drinks we waited for were taken to the wrong table. We brought a round of shots for everyone but seen we was overcharged when we seen the receipt, we spoken to Sam on site for help but he was not helpful and then told us to leave a Bad review."
