I've come through a couple times and while most of the food is pretty standard bar food good, what you expect the chicken and bacon boxty is a whole other story. This is soooo tasty and I will honestly get this every time I come from now on. Also their beer selection is pretty good too and seems to rotate out every now and again with a lot of local options! Good beer menu and seems to be kept fine, but the food was very poor. I had shepherds pie and my wife had bangers and mash. The pluses: the potato is OK. The minuses: the vegetables in my pie tasted like they?d come from a can or the freezer, they were awful, and the bangers were mainly meal and not close to real bangers in terms of spices. I have come through a few times and while most of the foods are quite standard bar eating well, what they expect that the huh and bacon is a whole different story. that's soou tasty and I'll get it right every time I get from now on. also their bier selection is also quite good and seems to turn out again and again with many local options! the staff was also super nice and friendly!
That was a nice Irish bar in the city. I enjoyed a guinness with a mozzarella cheese while we were watching people on the outside terrace.
I have eaten over her corn beef, potato pancakes, Swiss cheese bowl! I had it twice in three days! cannot remember the name of the teller, but this place has the best eating and a perfect guinness! I wish I had lived in ashville.
Incredible service and solid beer selection. inviting atmosphere. french wobbler suppe and loaded kartoffel skins were absolutely on point .... fixed beer selection .... I said that already. yes, the beer is good, and our server found out that my beer tastes fast and the selections kept lively and constant. brice is the amazing server.
I always judge an Irish place by their fish and chips, and these guys have acquitted themselves very well. Everything was excellent, and I enjoyed it. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Asheville
