"Gorgeous little spot for an after lunch/dinner treat for kids and adults alike- the ice cream is super creamy and the cookies hold up perfectly for sandwiches. The lemon curd ice cream was so amazing and the kids devoured their chocolate chip treats. Outside and inside has lots of seating options while you wait and a bathroom for washing up messy hands and faces after! Super cute and lovely. Well done, Sunshine Sammies!"

"Food and flavors were delicious -staff was kinda aloof (Hoss was friendly enough) but with a 45-minute waiting for hostess to finish her conversation? Before I could place the order even after mentioning, I had to order as we paid to the parking lot and were hungry at 45 minutes. She made it clear that she would end her conversation by being quite ignored and waiting to order, but that means she took her time with my questions on recommendations, so I think it is part of the corporate culture? and we had a wonderful experience after that when food was great. Desserts, food, teas were all top notch. I was particularly impressed that the desserts are completely free from any cane sugar in any form and instead use data and maple syrup as at home! Hubby is a vegan cook? Very recommended if you? not in a hurry and can overlook the above."

"Great view of the sunset. Absolutely a beautiful complex... takes up a whole block! Woman owned 2nd oldest brewery in Asheville. You can see the packaging line below when you go to the third floor in the mansion. Lots of space for social distancing. Many fresh air — outside the picnic tables and terrace areas. Award-winning beer. Amazing gluten-free ginger beer (I cannot have wheat) Hard Cider and wines too! Iconic alcohol-free root beer, that's the best I ever had. Cool stone table for young and old. Elevator for those who do not want to climb four flights of the stairs. Close to several parking spaces."

"A must stop in ashville! the breakfast tacos were absolutely amazing and the chili lime tarts were delicious. service was friendly and fast, order outside, take a seat inside or outside and their eating is delivered quickly. Make sure to try some of the homemade Chipotle sauce. I think it came with the sum, but I ended pouring it over my tacos yum! oh, I almost forgot that the horchata is from this world, my first swallow I did not love because it was quite different than what I am used to, but the .ore I drank, the better it became. it's been 10 minutes since I left the restaurant and I've already visited one."

"The tacos!! I had the Billy Joel and mamas favorite. Both great tacos but the mamas favorite was really great. Wife had the Billy holiday. The holiday and Joel are similar just different meats. 6 of us ate there with different options and we all loved them. Will be eating here on future visits again."

"We love to visit this location while we visit the Asheville area. We recently stopped in for dinner during the holidays. I was wanting seafood and my husband was looking for a nice steak. This restaurant seemed to be the perfect match. We arrived (12/27/21) to a busy evening and selected the bar location. I would highly recommend dinner in the bar given our great service (Trish bartender/wait staff awesome) and nicely spaced tables. We ordered drinks at the bar and waited for our table to be cleared. We were seated and then this special notice was dropped off at our table. Well, we were very disappointed to the lack of product availability. Basically, they had little to no seafood items. We made the best of it and ordered dinner as we had already ordered drinks and it was too late to go looking for another restaurant. I could tell our wait staff was embarrassed by the lack of food items from the menu. I gave the review a 3 as they did not disclose the lack of food products on line, when we arrived or prior to ordering a drink. I would consider returning to try a meal again only after calling the restaurant so see what food they would be serving."
