Brilliant bar and serving staff; very kind, friendly and professional. However the food mainly the chicken share platter was a complete disgrace. For £15.99 we received cold chicken, cold beans and over cooked chicken nuggets, after sending it back the chicken nuggets were still burnt, somehow they managed to serve us ice cold corn on the cob and dry chicken wings. Fantastic food. Friendly staff good atmosphere clean and tidy bar area very easy to order and the chef agreed to change a few items which we didn’t like.
Dropped in at tea time after a 2 hour drive home.Great food , great service, good atmosphere and extremely good value for money.A great Family pub.
