"We had afternoon tea and everything was delicious, lovely sandwiches, warm scones and tasty cakes. The cakes were proper sliced cakes and not the silly little taster cakes you can sometimes get. A lovely warm welcome from all the staff and we were given a box to take home what we couldn't eat. The best high tea we have ever had. We will definitely be going back again."

"Had a lovely meal on Sunday, drove past on the way to a local castle and decided to have lunch on the way back. Luckily we booked as it was packed when we got there (13.45). Food and drinks all came out quickly and we loved it. A little bit more expensive than I would have liked, but it was great. Parking: There are a lot of spots but it gets very busy. "Called in for a cup of coffee on our way home from the coast. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the freshly-made coffee was very tasty. The cakes and snacks on offer (although we did not try them) looked delicious. There's seating both inside and outside and, although dogs are not allowed inside, they are welcome at the tables outside. A quaint place well worth a call."
