This was my first time trying Cookout and I enjoyed the food and the vibes. They have an extensive menu and 40+ milkshake flavors. The prices are also very reasonable. My only complaint is the service could have been better and when I came in there was an old couple that were complaining about their food and held up the line. View all feedback.

I was shorted food the barbecue plate only had a scoop of barbecue and a container of coleslaw. The fries and hushpuppies were missing.This was at the Ashland Va store.Last month the Mechanicsville Va store did the same thing.Has anyone else been shorted fries and hushpuppies???I guess next time I will have to hold up the drive thru to check my order in the bag before I drive off. Milkshakes barely blended, barely any cookies/banana’s in the pudding shake, shakes not labeled. 3 Girls standing at the takeout window eating their milk shakes straws out like spoons. Not professional.

Easily reachable from Route 95. Easy parking. Great service with easy ordering and payment. Shockingly good prices (vs the Northeast USA). Will visit this chain again and again.God Bless America!
Good food. Nice people. I like my Oreo-Reese Cup milkshake.
