I've never had a negative experience at Casa. The portions are filling and the food is always delicious. They also have a very good variety of vegetarian options. What really separates casa from other similar style restaurants is its welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The staff are warm and welcoming, and treat you like family. I'm looking forward for my next trip down to get a burrito among good company! View all feedback.
What Walton Wisoky doesn't like about Casa Nueva:
The atmosphere is so chill. I love the exposed brick and the woodwork floors. The restrooms were clean. The staff were friendly. This restaurant is Staff owned so there is no tipping everything is all included in the bill.We got brunch here on a Friday and it was not too busy. Chips and Salsa are appetizers they don’t come free. The seasonal menus is all locally sourced and house made. I got the seasonal strawberry h... View all feedback.
Eating is always nice, although it is mainly drilling and rice on the menu. they make the best tofu riders. do not go for a quick lunch because the service is excrementally slow. I was often there, and this is typically an hour later.
There is always delicious food! so friendly staff, cool environment and delicious eating! loading vegan options clearly marked on menu. delicious drinks too!
Adore this restaurant! several vegan options on menu. also easy to veganize some of the other dishes. recommend the vegan stacked enchilada, taco salat and tofu frits. they even have a vegan brownie with milk free ice cream for dessert. huge salsa selection, including the weekly special salsa, which is always something interesting and tasty! love the mood of the restaurants and the people who work there
The vegan options here are really amazing! I'd rate eating five stars. the service on the other side, is not so big, I would give about two stars, which is why I have settled on three. I always go back, because eating is really so good!
If I could rate the food and service separately, I’d give the food four stars, and the service half a star. I lived in Athens 6 years and ate at Casa many times. The majority of those times, my appetizer was forgotten and/or there was an hour wait to be seated when the dining room was not even close to full. Once, I ordered a vegan quesadilla and was brought a chicken quesadilla with dairy cheese. When pointing this out to my server, she insisted what she gave me was vegan.. I had to point directly at the piece of chicken hanging out of the quesadilla to prove to her she was mistaken. My vegan quesadilla came out 20 minutes later, and they expected me to pay my bill in full. I like the concept of no tipping, but perhaps if there were tips involved, the staff would try a little harder. Anyway, onto the food: they have several vegan options on both the regular and brunch menu, which is awesome. They have lots of locally sourced ingredients, which is also awesome. I always come back for the food, not the service.
