found this place on a list of the best fried chicken in every state. I wanted to be disappointed, but I wasn't. All I ordered was great except the green beans (which could use more season/pork), but that could be just personal preference, they know clearly what they are doing. The chicken was crispy and salty. The Gizzards were crispy and well done. The Mac and the cheese are creamy and saucy. View all feedback.
What Beatriz Sepúlveda doesn't like about Miller's Chicken:
I always came here as a child. it really has big huh. I like to get her ****. but this time I have something and they tasted like salt blocks. they were so anointed that they hurt my parrot. I don't know what happened here. Maybe they had a day with a cook that likes a lot of salt. most of the time they are amazing and I bless them always. this was the first time I was disappointed by them in years. I hope they can i... I used to love Millers Chicken. I live in Belpre (30 miles away) and drive there for what used to be their wonderful food. I went there on Saturday and we got several items. The good Chicken Wings Potato Salad Macaroni Salad Chicken Liver (cooked perfectly) The bad Chicken Hearts (they were so greasy that I literally fed them all to my dogs) Fish sandwich (also greasy) Mushrooms (so greasy they fell apart into mush) Jalapeno Poppers (greasy and unrecognizable) The iffy Chicken salad (it used to be really good but it was overly mayonaised and chock full of celery, not to say it was bad but it wasn 't that good) I was sorely disappointed and most likely will not go back again any time soon. I know the owner passed away recently and maybe they hired new cooks who don 't know what they 're doing, but most of the fried items we had were so greasy that it was inedible. I considered calling the business to alert them of our situation but figure it really won 't do any good anyways so I am just chalking it up as another favorite restaurant ruined.
Was hoping for a great fried chicken experience but was disappointed with an average meal. Wasn’t very fresh. Tasted pretty good. “Chunks” (potato wedges) were just ok too. Have had better back home.
Very quick service, Haddock js great as well. As the chicken. No better macaroni salad around
Got the mac n cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy and potato wedges, which all had problems. Mac n cheese was bland but also had that tangy flavor as if it was made with spoiled milk. Mashed potatoes were just instant potatoes with flavorless brown water pretending to be gravy. Wedges tasted like they were freezer burnt and had a tough/rubbery texture. Portions were really small for the price plus the building seems very ran down.
Always a fantastic meal to have. My husband could eat liver and crab cakes and chicken from here every day.
