Literally best hibachi and poke in Athens. So flavorful and the meat is never dry. It's also insane because they give you and entire bottle of yum yum sauce if you dine in. 10/10 recommend. View all feedback.
What Amanda Zagata doesn't like about Ahi Hibachi And Poke:
Extremely disappointed in my veggie hibachi. Other places I’ve gotten veggie options at least had a 2-3 veggie medley (carrots/ zucchini/ broccoli/ onions). My veggie hibachi was just straight broccoli with 1 singular carrot slice and one singular zucchini slice. It did have some cabbage/ 5ish onion slices. But if you are looking for a veggie option I would not recommend. Absolute waste of my money. If I wanted brocc... View all feedback.
I lived my whole life in Athens, and I got Sushi faithful from another restaurant in the same environment. I often drove past Ahi, but I let him go because of the way it looked at OUTSIDE. Big, big mistake! On a whine I ordered a poke dish (which I never had before). That was so good. A bowl of fresh, tasty ingredients...I 100% agree that this place has amazing food. Don't hesitate to try. It is absolutely delicious!!
This place IS AMAZING!!!!! The poke bowls are like a sushi roll but in a bowl?. Their lo mein noodles are to die for and the habachi is even better!!! I HAVE FOUND MY DOWNTOWN EATERY!!!
The absolute best poke place ever! Not only is it super affordable compared to other places but they give you a huge serving! The ingredients are yummy and fresh and the people there are always so sweet! Fast service too! No extra for add ons or anything. Even when I graduate and move back to Atlanta, I will still go here atleast once a month because it?s THAT good!
Best place i've found in Athens for poke bowls so far! not only is it tasty, it's beautiful!!! bowl i recommend: ? large (it's about $11-$13, depends on which platform you use? cosmic recommended) ? base: sushi rice ? protein: tuna, albacore tuna, salmon ? marinade: nah ? toppings: avocado, edamame, corn, masago (fish eggs), tempura flakes, cucumber, sesame seeds ? sauce: eel sauce
I have been very excited to try out Ahi Poke and was not disappointed. It is downtown on Clayton St, so it can be difficult to find parking during busy times. You come in, fill out a sheet of what you want, pay for the food, and then wait for them to serve it up for you. It was not a long wait at all. I loved that I could choose exactly what I wanted to try, and my choices turned out to be delicious. There are a decent amount of tables for you to sit at, and it wasn?t too busy on a Thursday evening. I would recommend trying it out.
