I haven't been there for three years, but I went back to have a good dance and a drink. I have to say the vibes were amazing. The dj was full of amazing mixes, the drinks were a decent price, the bartenders were full of wonderful smiles and personalities, the security was funny and completely amazing. What Nya Murray doesn't like about 101 Auckland:
Bar 101 is my favourite club as I like my 90s dance music however it doesn’t give a welcoming feeling with security breathing down ya neck the djs are average as they seem to make big genre changes in the music and it’s obvious that people don’t like the sudden changes the bathrooms need a desperate renovation as the walls are torn apart and toilets are blocked all the time. The songs are average just same old stuff djs not very talented no one’s tries to be creative just a bunch of loonies
While I was vibing and enjoying myself a bouncer pulls me aside and tells me that the bar requested I be removed for…..I assume I was partying too hard?? No one...
