"As others have indicated in recent reviews, the behaviour of the leading staff member completely ruined our visit here. I take Covid precautions very seriously but the way we (and others) were spoken to (more like shouted at) by the female staff member as we...sat at our table was ridiculous. "Excellent Fish n chips! At first the man on the counter seemed quite abrupt but he warmed up a bit in the end. The place is lovely, toilets excellent and clean and the food… well… really good! Curry sauce … what is their recipe?? It...was the best curry sauce we’ve ever had!! Fish was beautifully cooked."

"Visited here last week with family parents vegan, children vegetarian. There was good choice for all and the food was delicious, portion sizes good and reasonable price. Decent beer selection as well. Unfortunately, was so full from the excellent puffin ball starter and main meal that couldn't try the desserts, but they sounded very nice."

"Food was seriously, genuinely lovely. The haggis was another level, and for someone who doesn't eat or even entertain the idea of mashed potato, this dish was fantastic. Beers were great and from the local brewery too. Dessert was very good. The only minor let down was waiting time between main and pud, but that is me being overly critical! Overall, a great experience and would definitely go back if I find myself in the area again!"

"The coffee pot is amazing! it's always our way to our lunch! we work close and it's super easy to get a take-out for lunch, but they also have a great seat in the opposite! the food is always delicious and fresh made! great staff also! always in a mood, service with a smile"
