we went to dinner on 1st January.. what a fantastic meal at the beginning of the year. the scallops then had the haggis lasagne...wow..both were amazing, but my friends eating also looked great..staff were nice and friendly, even if it was busy..would highly recommend. thank you for being fantastic. read more.

"Came over this place quite randomly at the time they were very busy, but the man let us eat in the bar as we have starved. eating when it arrived was fantastic, the portions were a good size and choice was good, even better offered a gluten-free meal that my man enjoyed very much, the staff was very friendly and helpful. many thanks for a beautiful meal and a great atmosphere. hopefully we come back"

"A thoroughly enjoyable, if slightly odd evening. The pies were great, nicely cooked and tasty, the chips were a little plain but crisp, the mushy peas just mushy peas and the gravy nice and tasty but probably bisto. It may sound that it didn't think much of the food but I really enjoyed it all. The price tag, at £8.95 for pie and chips is great. To cap it off the host, and his mum were a true comedy double act, slightly fringe comedy, but funny. Give the place a go!"
