This is a hot opinion, I'm still sitting at the table. fast service, exquisite food and good price. We passed through the door and saw movement, waiters from one side to the other and clients finishing dinner with good face. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Bocana:
We occupy a table on the terrace, very slow service. I can only say that for three dishes we order, we had to be two and a half hours. the third dish came when we already wanted to order the account because we didn't hold any more waits. the current cazón ration, the powdered octopus had the paprika burnt and was bathed in oil. We were possibly the only non Spanish customers this evening which for us is one sign of a great restaurant when eating abroad. It's mad busy, the staff work extremely hard and fast but at the same time it's a relaxing place to eat. The food was excellent. The teens enjoyed calamares and bacalao with chips even though getting them to eat seafood at home is always a challenge! We also had sole and tuna steak. Be warned that the €6.00 for the sole and other fish is the price per 100g, the whole fish cost €19.50 but it was delicious and worth every cent. The added bonus was a stunning sunset visable from our table. We arrived at around 9pm and got a table straight away but any later could result in a long wait for a table. Definitely worth a visit.
Busted this place last year and pleased to say food is just as good again this year. A very good selection of tapas meals. This is a large establishment so always guaranteed a seat
Every time we go to Isla Canela our first stop is always La Bocana. The fried fish, chilled shrimp, Galician octopus and everything else is absolutely marvelous!: The food is all fresh and is prepared extremely well! The service is quick and pleasant and the prices are very reasonable.

To take gender exclusively into account, the score would be higher. However, there was a lack of service that cannot compensate the quality of the fish. We ask for a ration of puntilites, coquinas and croquettes; half of acedias; and a bass on the plate; all to share and all rich except the puntilites. They took the dishes from one to the other, taking each other. When we asked the waiter about it, he turned it down to the size of the table. We told him not to worry, to take out the dishes together, but they continued to take them out of one in one, with great spans of time between one and another. Furthermore, when we finished the bread, we asked him to bring us more. After a couple of oblivion and three kind requests, the young waiter answered us in an unrespectful way and I will be forgotten a third time more when we try to draw the attention of the owner on this matter, told us that he would come and never came to the table. However, I would also like to highlight a very good gesture from the staff. And it's just that my father was forgotten about graduated sunglasses, realizing it days later. We asked about them again, and more had been saved. Not everywhere they do that, so thank you.
