This is a great local pub that combines a wide selection of quality beer and a surprisingly good restaurant The menu is not extensive and better for it in my opinion Steak is often over priced and under prepared, here the steak was excellent, cooked perfectly nicely presented and superb value for money, a rare find. I cycled over (10 miles) for lunch, having checked the website for opening hours, only to find the pub shut and a notice on the gate with updated opening times, for much later in the day. So I cannot judge the quality of the beer or the food. Such a shame since this place had been recommended strongly. View all feedback.
