under new administration this place is really fantastic. very friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere. we ate there on a Saturday afternoon. great atmosphere, music playing and above all: incredible eating. are generous and there is absolutely no compromise on quality. I had the open top fish finger sandwich, the hands down the best pub served fish and chips I ever had! good work! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Fleece:
We were going to The Fleece but were put off by the dirty nature of the outside. Fag ends , pigeon droppings and other detritus that hasn't been swept for ages. Running a pub is hard work but little things like this need attention. We hope to return so we can write a good review about the food ! View all feedback.
Popped along to The Fleece this Tuesday lunchtime but it was closed: sign outside stating opening hours were 12-3: it was 12:35 and no signs of life.
