We stopped in for a light lunch after a blistering hot morning touring in Bacharach. The flammkuchen was generously portioned and very tasty, and we had some nice local wine. It was a little early in the day for us for the wine tasting so I can't speak to that :) A good sign that there seemed to be quite a few locals as well as tourists. My assessment here refers to the wine bar or Vinothek, as here the reports appear very confused between winery and an adjacent wine cellar. After a quarter of roses in the sunny wine garden we landed in the Vinothek in search of a corresponding wine.
