"Decided to have noodle box for evening meal as part of birthday celebration. Whilst tasty, I’ve never experienced such a dry noodle meal (the hit and spicy). It was so dry there was no sauce residue in the box. Needed a drink to wash it down."

"Steak and service were good, however my blue cheese horseradish sauce was bland as hell. The bottled water was warm and should have been chilled. Probably expected more for dollars spent. Ballarat has an abundance of excellent food venues, so Dyers need to lift their game a tad to remain up there."

"Quaint cafe in the CBD of Ballarat, not a huge menu but I like the roast spuds. Cafe has a certain ambience for either a meal, coffee and cake or snacks. The two ladies working when I last went for dinner, were very friendly and welcoming. Spud was well presented and totally delicious. Coffee to finish was beautiful. All in all, food , service, comfort and ambience are all top class. Will be on my regular visiting list."
