"We are so glad that we tried this place again after a couple of years and change in ownership. If you want a classic burger then this is the place to go. The burger is what you expect from the good ole days. The flake is of generous size and delicious. The spring rolls, the dim sums are all yummy. The other places nearby do their modern spin on things and we love them too but the prices here are too good to miss. Definitely try this place out."

"3.5 We had breakfast and the cosy quirky L’Espresso cafe today in Ballarat. This little cafe was cluttered with tables and also sold vinyl records so my interest there was more than just the food. Food wise there was a good selection on their menu and we would both have normally jumped in the pancakes or French toast but feeling savoury today so had bacon and eggs on super thick bread while Kellie had salmon and feta on toast. Coffee was Vittoria, so old school but I surprisingly enjoyed the blend and we had no issue with separation of almond milk like we’ve sometimes experienced with this brand. Really quick turn around which was Good with only 1 hour parking out front."

"We were in town for a meeting, had spare time and needed a coffee! What a find, exceptional coffee and deli, unbelievable food and the staff (family owned for 22 years) made us feel like part of the family. It was closing time and a staff meeting was about to start, we were not only served coffee but also some exceptional food plus afforded shelter from the outside elements (cold and windy) until our next meeting in 2 hours time. We ere checked in on occasionally but only because they were checking to see if we need anything. Well worth the stopover, and to try the partly homemade food as well as the delicious salami and cheese platter. Great job team - will definitely be back whenever I am in Ballarat."
