"We have never been to the white horse but we heard it was under new ownership. We went with some friends for Sunday lunch and had an amazing meal (and espresso martini) highly recommend and its so close to banbury. There is also a really good park for the kids so everyone is happy!!! Sara."

"We came here for lunch after being recommended it. We were not disappointed! The food was very fresh and delicious and the menu choices were far greater than what we were expecting. The service was lovely and the atmosphere very relaxed. We loved it so...much we stayed longer for coffee and cake. We didn't want to leave."

"Visited for Sunday lunch as in the area camping. The Peacock was busy and it was a good job we had booked although it didn’t affect the service and quality of the food. Portions were great and the food was great. Staff were very friendly. The only let down was the shortage of beef. However the lamb shank was devine. Hope to visit again when in the area."

"We booked a reservation for 7pm on a Saturday however we didn’t need to book as the restaurant was very quiet. Normally this would lead us to think the food might be questionable. How far from the truth, the food was excellent from the mixed pickles and popadoms to the vindaloo and dry chicken tikka we ordered. I have been to numerous Indian restaurants and would definitely recommend this restaurant. One of the best for me. I should also say the staff were very attentive and looked after us very well. Well done."

"Great place to visit if you enjoy toasted sandwiches, croissants, good selection of delicious cakes, fudge brownie, chocolate muffins, baked cheesecake s etc. Additionally, various selections of beverages.
