"I had the most delicious fish chips here today. the staff was very friendly but fast and efficient. a decent size, with beautiful crispy teig. I would recommend a visit here. we sat and ate then with view over the harbour to see a pod of dolphins play in the harbour."

"A great, intoxicating afternoon tea (we exchanged the sandwiches and cakes for a basket sauce) cocktails and eating were both amazing, the personal was very friendly. we enjoyed our day thoroughly, would recommend it to everyone and will definitely be back"

"We dropped by for brunch en route to the airport and were instantly impressed by the restaurant décor and by the unusual menu. There is full Scottish breakfast as well as some different choices including a boozy option. We had salmon with guacamole on sourdough.. delicious. Tacos with chorizo and eggs was another selection as well as pancakes with various toppings. The service was very pleasant and we enjoyed looking at the lunch/dinner menus. Very much recommended."

"This was my third visit, although the first one for a few years. I expected a fabulous meal, but unfortunately was disappointed. Eating was good, but not exceptional. the tempura prawns could have been from the island. they were dim balls. .doughy balls, with little taste and an unpalatable texture. the bottle wein (of the cheaper end of the winery last) was very common if I had paid for it from a last, I would have made a note not to buy it again. I had hoped to start with a beer, but unfortunately there were only camps or small doses of beer under the ales section of the drink menu. since they took the pub since I was last there, I could have got a beer. at the end of the meal I decided to take a whisky with my coffee, just to discover that even the cheapest ordinary whisky was for a tiny shot. That's ridiculous. I waited until I came home and had one with my cheese and cookies because I was hungry for the tiny portions. I'm not leaving."
