"Hands down our favorite restaurant in Canmore (and there are so many to choose! . From the ambience of the great stone fireplace, always with a fire glow, to the incredible views from the window that play soft music, and of course the exquisite food. We have often dimmed here and come more and more than satisfied. And the service is always impeccable. Merci Isabelle!"

"This was a rather disappointing experience. I want to be very clear that I appreciated the wait staff and that my review is not a reflection on the waiters. They were working hard and truly trying to accommodate a very busy time. It was obvious that the kitchen was overworked because the food was subpar for a very extraordinarily long wait. A meal which should have involved maybe an hour hour and a half at most was a three 3 1/2 hour meal and I can honestly say nothing was extraordinary. The muscles were in a broth that felt like they had poured some tasteless broth into it at the last minute. This is not my experience for a Fairmont restaurant and it was not my experience for the rest of my week at the Banff Fairmont. But I definitely could not give this a great review. One shining moment was the oysters and I thought those were very good. Well, I guess I can also give the french fries a thumbs up. Hopefully this was just a sign of a busy time with not enough kitchen and staff to be able to present, and I'm hopeful that this will improve"

"Our group was starving and looking for a place in Banff that wasn't as close to the large crowds. We stumbled upon this place and it was empty so we decided to give it a go. That should have been our warning. The inside is aesthetically pleasing and well decorated. They have a bar area and plenty of room inside as well as outdoor seating. I ordered the salmon however was later told they were out of it so they offered me the tuna instead. The fish was good but that's all you get, no real sides with entries. The rest of my group also felt the portions were small. Overall the consensus was that it was not a good meal and would not recommend."
