"I love COws ice cream !! It’s definitely better in the original factory in PEI , but this place has the best ice cream in Banff !! Wait in that line . It’s worth it. Chocolate covered chips are a need to try !"

"Very high-end experience! The magnificent view, stellar service, and imaginative dishes are all reflected in the price. For regular people like us, it was a huge splurge to get the full 8-course menu... but totally worth it. The flight of international cheeses was our favorite part. We also enjoyed three appetizers, three entrees, two desserts, a pallet-cleanser, and unique breads (with 3 types of butter). I won 't say the price; look it up! Excellent blending of flavors. What a wonderful, memorable meal."

"I'm not sure why the reviews here aren't higher, we had a lovely experience! We ordered the escargot (a little disappointing, needed more garlic and butter , the beef tartare (so amazing , cheese and charcuterie (so amazing , scallops (so amazing , the burger (so amazing , and the cheese and pasta side (so amazing . That's a lot of so amazings. The profiteroles were also fantastic : I'm horribly full, and very content. The service was also prompt, attentive, and really really great (thank you, Christen! . PS. Try the ginger beer."

"We had the best dinner here at 1888 Chop House. It was our last day in Banff and we treated ourselves. The restaurant is very cozy and modern inside. All decor was beautiful! Our server greeted us with a choice to start with champagne and introduced us to the menu. Our server, Nicholas was so helpful and excited to show us everything they had to offer. We ended up ordering the bread and butter which of course was amazing, then we shared the pork and scallops appetizer. Lastly for our main we got the 14oz NY Strip which we split and added the Quebec blue cheese on top which I highly would recommend. We had the ice cream sundae and some amazing esprit martinis to end and it was just an amazing experience!! They even gave us a gift at the end because of our engagement earlier in the trip canât wait to come back!"
