"Unbelievable food. We ordered the Haida Gwaii Chanterelle mushrooms, the gnocchi and smoked duck and the osso bucco. We had to wait a bit for our network, but the ambience and amazing customer service have built up."

"I love the Pub portion part of this place. It is friendly place with sports on the. The staff are awesome. The bartenders can make awesome drinks. They even do a proper whisky sour. If it is a nice absolutely check out the patio. Amazing views!"

"We booked ahead and were allocated a great window seat. Server was very friendly and took time to chat to us. We both ate steaks which were excellent. Only word of warning is that this was an expensive option. With service the bill came to $230 for 2mains, one starter, 2 desserts and drinks."

"As usual!! The Primrose restaurant had us, our full tummies and our satisfied palates saying, “Wow!” The Primrose restaurant is on the sixth floor of the Rimrock Hotel in Banff. As such, the views of the mountains and the hotel grounds are spectacular. We came for breakfast this morning and were seated by the window. The attentiveness of our host and servers made us feel extremely welcome. Despite these difficult Covid times everyone displayed a smile and pleasant demeanour with perfect class. We enjoyed the Mountain Breakfast and the Grizzly Pancakes. As you can see from the photos these dishes were simply a work of art! We also enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange and grapefruit juices and some of the best coffee you’ll find anywhere. The quality of the ingredients, such as the choice of fruit and bacon Could never be found in your neighbourhood supermarket. The quality is above and beyond. "But worth it. You can get a good steak everywhere, but this is a unique experience that I say it is a must in Banff! We had the complete fondue dinner, it was so delicious. Started with home salad, the cheese fondue with bread, seafood trio and beef lobster on hot rock, finished with chocolate fondue with fruit and wafer cookies. Everything tasted delicious had to remind me to save space for the next course. The main course is a bit small, but the other courses are perfectly satisfied."

"This restaurant is great if you want a nice German dinner. Do chose the Pub if you want this experience. It is located downstairs from the main restaurant by the same name but the menus are different. We liked the food choices here better. Nice beers. Patio seating with view of mountains and river. Eat earlier then 10 pm because the mosquitoes come out. We had the chicken wings and the pork schnitzel dishes . Excellent. Service very good. Patio seating definitely recommended."
