"I spent a week recently renting close by to Mannings. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have nearby. I managed to have breakfast, lunch or dinner here everyday and I can't wait to get back. Their coffee is the best you will...find locally. The perfect start to everyday. They have amazing pastries, sausage rolls and lots more in the morning. I tried them all and they were all to die for. The toasties at lunch are amazing. I recommend the ultimate cheese. Best toasties I've ever had. But sitting down with a bottle of beer or a glass of wine and getting one of their wood fired pizzas was without a doubt the highlight of my meals. The pizzas are perfect. They have loads of options with local produce that you won't get anywhere else. Genuinely unique options. It's not just the food though. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The staff are all so nice and helpful I'm already planning my next trip."

"Bantry is a beautiful city, and I would recommend everyone while they are in the world. a great little esserei like box of frogs there is only the icing on the cake. the men are known for their friendliness and cordial greetings, and the workers at box of frogs only strengthen this. such nice people, they would not have done more to make us welcome. I am vegan and gluten-free and the chef has made me through a huge list of ingredients he had that I could eat. then he made me the most incredible salat bowl, the fresh fruit, roasted new kartoffels and sweet, pesto, endive and countless other tasty elements that I can't remember because I was so busy enjoying every mouth. my friend I traveled with is omnipresent, and she loved the options they had too. we washed our food with a weizengrass juice (grown) and I also had an amazing vanilla chai latte (they had soya and mandelmilch available). the cost was also very reasonable, and the restaurant has a nice, relaxed feeling for it. they also have a wine menu if they want it."

"We visited Hackett’s on a Friday evening. We were lucky to find 2 perches at the bar and were served by the wonderful Barry. We ended up chatting to people at the bar and had a great night. The best pints of Guinness and Murphy’s around! Highly recommend"

"We were staying in Skibbereen for the weekend and was reccomended to visit the church, we went friday night, it really was amazing , the interiors to the food was top class and as for the 2 girls that served us they were both very friendly and gave us great tips about the area and where to go onto next after our meal."

"One of the best fresh fish restaurants in West Cork,fresh fish simply served,great service family friendly. The homemade brown bread is addictive served with lots of butter.
